It is designed for 8-12mm tempered glass, the standard range for frameless shower doors and glass partitions. The clamp plates sit flush on the glass and the through-bolts go into drilled holes, so the glass must be drilled before tempering. We supply the hole pattern with the order so your glazier can machine the panels correctly before heat treatment.

SUS304 is our standard body material and handles normal bathroom moisture well. SUS316 adds molybdenum, which improves resistance to chlorides, so it is the safer choice for coastal homes, pools, and spas where salt and humidity are higher. Both are solid stainless through the body, not plated, so the difference is long-term pitting resistance rather than looks. SUS316 costs more.

Both are coated over the machined body and hold up to daily wiping with a soft cloth and mild soap. Chrome is bright and reflects light, which suits white bathrooms; gun gray and brushed nickel are muted satin looks that hide fingerprints and water spots better. If the door gets heavy use, brushed nickel or gun gray is the practical choice because scratches show less on a satin surface than on polished chrome.

Yes. One leaf clamps the fixed glass and the other clamps the door panel, so both panels need drilled holes. The door opens inward and outward around the hinge joint, and with the 180 degree opening it can fold flat back against the fixed panel. That is what makes it suitable for shower screens and double-door layouts where a wide, clear opening is wanted.
