Frameless Glass Door Patch Fitting Set Stainless Steel for Office Glass Door

The 704 is a top-and-bottom patch fitting set for a frameless office glass door, in 304 stainless, complete with gaskets and screws. It fits 8-12 mm tempered glass, the usual spec for office entrance doors. Both pieces are finished together so they match exactly.

The set clamps the top and bottom edges of the glass. You still need a hinge or pivot system (or a floor spring) to actually hang the door and carry its weight. The patches keep the panel aligned and transfer load, but they are not hinges - match the hinge or pivot to the door weight and glass thickness.

8-12 mm tempered glass. This is the common range for office frameless doors and matches the gaskets in the set. If your spec is outside that, contact us - we can recommend the right fitting instead of forcing a wrong-size clamp onto the glass.

A glazing crew usually finishes one door in under an hour: clamp the bottom patch, seat the top patch, plumb the panel, and torque the screws. We include a drilling template so the glass can be drilled before delivery. Tempered glass cannot be drilled on site, so the template has to reach the fabricator first.

Brushed nickel, chrome, and matte black cover most office aesthetics, from polished chrome in glass partitions to matte black in dark-framed lobbies. Custom colors are possible for OEM quantities. All finishes are on the stainless body, so they keep their tone with normal cleaning.
