The square-body clamp is designed for 10–12mm tempered glass — the thickness commonly used in glass railings, balustrades, staircases and fence panels. The clamping slot and rubber gaskets are matched to that range, so the glass sits evenly with no gap. It is a clamp-on type: the glass edge slides into the body and is secured with the front plates and screws, so no hole needs to be drilled in the panel. That keeps the glass intact and makes site adjustment easier. The gaskets protect the glass edge from chipping and reduce vibration at the contact point. For through-glass fixing you'd be looking at spigots or point-fix systems instead.

No — the contact surfaces are lined with rubber/EPDM gaskets, so the steel body never touches the glass directly. That protects against scratching and evens out the clamping pressure so you don't create stress points on the glass edge. Just don't over-tighten the screws: the clamp should grip firmly without crushing the gasket. Replacement gaskets are available.

Yes — it is made for glass railing and balustrade systems, including outdoor balconies and staircases. The standard version is SUS304 stainless with brushed nickel, chrome or matte black finishes. For coastal or pool-side installations where salt exposure is constant, we recommend the SUS316 option, which resists pitting better. Tell us the environment and we'll spec the right grade.

The clamp is one component of a full railing system. A typical section needs the clamps for each glass-to-post connection, the posts or spigots, and possibly base shoe or channel if you want a framed look. We supply clamps, spigots, posts, base shoe/channel systems, point fixing and handrail tubes from the same factory, so you can order a matched set rather than mixing suppliers.

Custom colors are available on request, and the clamp can be made to suit non-standard glass thicknesses within our production range. If you have a specific gasket color, logo or packaging requirement for a project, that is handled as an OEM order (500 pcs). For trial quantities, samples start at 1 pc, though a sample fee may apply.
