The channel body is one width and the gap is closed with interchangeable rubber gaskets per glass thickness - 12, 15, 19 or 22 mm each gets its matching gasket set, so a single profile covers the range instead of four different channels. No. The panel beds on rubber setting blocks and is held with side gaskets, so there is no metal-on-glass contact anywhere. That protects the glass edge from stress points and stops the metal scratching the panel during installation. The same packing absorbs the small thickness tolerance that different tempering plants produce.

As a continuous channel it distributes panel load along the whole run, which is its advantage over point-fixed spigots. The working limit is set by the anchor pattern and substrate, not the channel wall: for infill up to about 1.1 m with M8-M10 stainless anchors at 300-400 mm centres, the system is designed for standard residential balcony loading. For higher wind loads or taller glass, send the numbers and we advise a deeper channel or steel system.

Brushed nickel, matte black and custom colors. Anodized black is a true metal finish that will not flake or peel under UV, which suits outdoor balconies. If you need a specific RAL, powder coating covers it but has slightly less scratch resistance than anodize on a floor-level profile. Custom colors run at the 500 pc minimum; standard finishes from 50 pcs.

It works on both, but stairs need the channel cut at the pitch angle where it meets the floor. For stair installations we supply the channel cut to your rake angle with finished end caps, and the gasket sets stay the same as for flat runs. Send the rise/run and panel layout and we pre-cut everything; a 1 pc sample verifies the mitre before the full order.

Standard production runs 15-25 days, and custom-length channels are cut and drilled within that same window - no extra lead time for cutting. Custom colors still ship inside the 15-25 day window for RAL-stock colors. Samples are 1 pc, standard orders 50 pcs, and OEM/logo packaging starts at 500 pcs.
