What makes this a security clamp lock?
It is built with the clamp-on body plus a positive bolt engagement into an anchored keeper, and the clamp plates are fixed with security-type screws so the lock cannot be unbolted from the outside once installed. That is the arrangement for commercial office doors.
Can the door be shimmed or lifted out when locked?
The bolt drops into a keeper anchored to the frame or floor, and the clamp positions the lock low enough on the glass that lifting is impractical. For full protection, most sites combine it with a top bolt so the door is held at two points.
What material and finishes are available?
The lock is 304 stainless in brushed nickel, chrome, or matte black, with custom colors on 500-pc OEM orders. For coastal or humid environments we can quote 316 grade. All screws and plates are the same grade, so the lock keeps its torque in humid air.
What glass thickness does it fit?
It fits standard frameless panels, typically 8-12mm tempered glass. Confirm the thickness when ordering so we supply the correct gaskets and bolt length. A snug gasket fit also stops the lock from rattling when the door is used.
How is the keying arranged?
It uses a standard cylinder with keys; on bulk orders we can key all locks alike so one key operates every door on the site. Send the door count and we match the cylinders.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
Sample is 1 pc (sample fee may apply), standard order 50 pcs, and OEM orders start at 500 pcs. Lead time is 15-25 days. Keyed-alike sets are matched in the same run; note the door count on the PO.
