It locks at the bottom edge of the glass: the lock body mounts low on the door and a bolt drops into a keeper anchored in the floor. It is the common way to secure a frameless door without visible hardware at eye level.
Why use a bottom lock instead of a lock at handle height?
A bottom lock keeps the glass face clean and is harder to tamper with from outside. It is usually paired with a top bolt or a clamp lock on the opening edge for full security, which is the standard arrangement on frameless doors.
What does the floor side require?
The floor keeper is fixed with anchor bolts or epoxy into the floor, so the substrate must be solid concrete or similar. We include the drilling template; the keeper sits flush enough that it does not trip foot traffic.
What glass thickness and material are available?
The lock fits standard frameless panels, typically 8-12mm tempered glass, and is made of 304 stainless in brushed nickel, chrome, or matte black. Custom colors are available on 500-pc OEM orders.
How is the lock operated?
It uses a cylinder with keys; on bulk orders we can key several locks alike so one key covers all doors on a site. Operation is a simple turn to raise or drop the bolt into the floor keeper.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
