Is the same bar used for residential and commercial jobs?
The basic bar is the same product line, but for commercial glass - larger panels, offices, hotels - we recommend a thicker bar or two supports per panel. Tell us the glass size and span and we size the bar on the drawing, so the same factory makes both.
Can the shape be customized?
Yes, beyond plain straight bars we can make end fittings, bends and different clamp styles to suit the installation drawing. If your project has a specific profile, send the sketch and we quote the tooling or machining before production.
How do I measure the length I need?
Measure the clear span between the two fixing points, wall to glass or glass to glass. We add the bracket allowance and produce the bar to that net dimension. If the wall is out of square, the adjustable type gives you room to compensate.
Does it stop the door from shaking?
Yes. The bar creates a rigid connection that prevents the glass from flexing when the door swings, which is the common complaint with frameless systems. It also protects the hinges by keeping the panel from working loose over time.
What are the bulk supply terms?
