SUS316 contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to chlorides and salt than SUS304. That makes it the right material for coastal homes, pool rooms, and high-humidity bathrooms where standard stainless can eventually pit. The clamp body is solid SUS316 - not plated - so the corrosion resistance runs through the whole fitting, not just the surface.

Heavy duty here means a thicker body and wider clamp jaws than our standard clamps, so the panel is gripped over more surface area and the load spreads better. That is useful for larger glass partitions and taller panels where a lighter clamp would concentrate stress on a small point of the glass edge. The heavier build also survives repeated assembly and adjustment.

It is made for 8-12mm tempered glass. The rubber gaskets adjust to the exact panel thickness and the face plate bolts down evenly. Because it is the wall-to-glass type, it fixes a glass panel to a wall - use it at the fixed end of a partition, with glass-to-glass clamps or hinges on the other edges.

Just standard tools: a drill and appropriate bits for the wall anchors, and an Allen key or hex bit for the clamp bolts. Anchor the wall plate into solid structure, sit the glass in the jaws, and torque the bolts evenly - we include the screw and bolt sizes in the packing list. Rubber gaskets come pre-fitted, so installation is straightforward.

We offer Brushed Bronze, brushed nickel, chrome, gun gray, and custom colors. Since the base is solid SUS316, the finish is cosmetic - even if it gets scratched, the metal underneath is stainless. Satin finishes like brushed nickel and gun gray hide water marks well at the base of a shower partition.
