What material is this handle made from as standard?
The standard build is stainless steel 304 — the same grade used across our commercial door handle range. If your project needs more corrosion resistance for an exterior door, we can build it in 316. Tell us your exposure and we will set the grade.
Is it a true back-to-back double-sided pull handle?
Yes — two handle sides join through the glass with threaded posts, so both faces of the door carry a pull. This is the configuration specified for office and commercial glass doors where people open from either direction.
What glass thickness does it clamp?
It clamps through the door glass with through-bolts. Confirm your glass thickness when ordering and we will supply the matching post length so the two sides pull tight and square. Standard commercial door glass thicknesses are within the clamping range.
How is it installed?
Holes are drilled through the glass, the two handle sides are bolted together through those holes, and the fasteners are tightened from outside. We include the drilling template so the holes can be made before the glass is tempered.
What finishes can you supply on this handle?
Brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, and custom colors. The nickel and matte black options are PVD finishes that resist fingerprints and wear in high-traffic entrances. For a custom color, send a RAL or sample and we will match it.
