The jaws hold the glass through rubber gaskets so the panel is not stressed at a point. If you are using 12mm heavy glass in a large partition, the heavier brass body gives a more substantial hold and the door feels steadier when it swings.

On brass we offer brushed bronze, brushed nickel, chrome, gun gray, and custom colors. Polished brass as a bare metal look is possible but is rarely used in showers because it fingerprints easily, so most clients take one of the plated finishes. Tell us the RAL or PVD color reference for your matching tapware and we will match the tone as closely as the plating allows.
