No Digging Glass Door Floor Spring Floor Mounted Door Closer for Frameless Glass Door Installation

Traditional floor springs need a floor box cut into the concrete or tile, with the spring mechanism buried inside. The no-digging version mounts on top of the finished floor surface, so there is no core drilling or box installation — a real advantage for retrofit jobs or thin floors where you can't cut deep. The glass door closes through the spring mechanism mounted at the floor, with the glass held in the pivot.

It is designed for frameless glass doors up to a typical commercial or retail door weight. For heavy 12mm glass or wide openings, confirm the door dimensions with us and we'll check the spring rating. The top of the door needs a top pivot or guide. Send us the door width, height and glass thickness and we'll confirm the right floor spring model.

The floor spring is fitted with an adjustable closing mechanism — you can tune the closing speed on site to suit the door, which is the main field adjustment on these units. Hold-open and single/double acting depend on the model. Tell us whether the door must stay open at 90° (e.g. for a shop entrance) and we'll confirm the correct specification.

We cover both. Single-acting pulls the door back to one closed position — typical for shower or room doors. Double-acting lets the door swing both ways and return to center — typical for entrance doors. State the application when ordering so we send the right mechanism; the closing behavior and internal setup differ between the two.

The floor spring body is SUS304 stainless with brushed nickel, chrome, matte black or custom color finishes, so it blends with frameless glass hardware. In a bathroom or entrance, the stainless body resists corrosion from water and cleaning chemicals. Custom colors follow the standard OEM process (500 pcs); samples start at 1 pc.
