Wall-to-glass means one leaf is fixed to the wall with screws and the other leaf clamps the glass door panel. Glass-to-glass clamps a fixed glass panel instead. Wall-to-glass is the standard choice when a shower has a solid wall on one side and you want a frameless door hinged directly to it - no fixed glass panel is needed on that side.

SUS304 is the best all-round value for a bathroom hinge. SUS316 costs more and suits coastal, pool, or spa environments with heavy salt exposure. Brass is for customers who want a machined, traditional look and accept the extra finish care. Zinc alloy is the budget option - fine for lower-use doors, but for a door that gets heavy daily use we recommend stainless. Geometry is the same in all four.

The wall leaf screws into the wall structure, so it needs a solid anchor point - wood studs, a reinforced steel frame, or suitable masonry anchors. On drywall alone the screws have nothing to bite into and the door will pull the hinge loose. Check what is behind the tiled wall before installing; if there is no stud where you want the hinge, mount a reinforced plate or header first.

It is designed for 8-12mm tempered glass on the door panel. The door leaf carries the same clamping system as our glass-to-glass range, with rubber gaskets and through-bolts. Since the door is supported from one side only, keep the panel within the usual frameless shower door proportions; for unusually wide or heavy panels we will advise on the hinge count.

Yes. The wall leaf mounts straight onto the wall and the door leaf clamps the glass, so you simply position the hinge on the correct side of the door. Unlike some hinges that are handed at the factory, this model is symmetric - one unit works for either swing direction. Just set the hinge back far enough from the glass edge so the door opens fully to 90 degrees.
