It is the combined hardware package for a point-fixed glass facade: spider fittings carry the glass corners and standoffs handle the edge and intermediate fixings where a full spider arm is not needed. Ordered together they give you a matched, complete fixing kit from one source.
When would I use a spider, and when a standoff?
Spiders hold glass corners and are the main structural pick-up on a facade. Standoffs fix a single point on the glass edge or face to the structure, useful for long panel runs and reinforcement between corners. Most real facades use both in one layout.
What glass thickness is the system designed for?
The system is designed for point-fixed tempered facade glass. Tell us your glass thickness and hole positions when ordering and we will match every boss, socket, and back plate to it. Insulated units need the full build-up detail for correct seating.
Are all parts available in ss316?
Yes — spiders and standoffs can both be supplied in ss304 or ss316, and the heavy-duty option also runs in duplex 2205 on request. Finishes include brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, and custom colors, with dark options in PVD for exterior work.
How is the glass drilled for this system?
All holes are drilled before tempering. We supply a drilling template for the full fixing pattern — corner spider points and standoff points — so your glass fabricator cuts every hole in the right place in one pass.
