What's the advantage of a square tube track over a flat rail?
The square tube gives the track inherent stiffness, so longer spans hold their line without sagging between fixing points. The sliding hangers run inside the tube, which also keeps rollers and screws out of sight for a cleaner frameless look. For wide openings, a square-section track is stiffer than an open channel of the same wall thickness.
Which glass thickness works with this track kit?
The kit is set for 8-10mm tempered glass, standard for frameless shower enclosures. The hangers grip the glass with rubber-lined clamps, and the bottom guide keeps the panel aligned. If your project uses 6mm or 12mm, send us the glass spec, because the clamp inserts can usually be changed.
How is the square tube mounted, wall or ceiling?
Both. The track fixes to the wall at the top of the enclosure, or for ceiling-hung installations, to the ceiling with the included brackets. The mounting pattern is symmetric, so you choose the orientation. Tell us your opening and fixing surface when ordering and we'll confirm bracket spacing.
Can the tube be cut to a custom length?
Yes. We cut and deburr the tube to your opening width at the factory, or ship standard lengths for on-site cutting. For OEM orders at 500 pcs we drill fixing holes and add your logo. Either way, measure the finished opening, not the glass, when you send the dimension.
Does the square tube need much maintenance?
Very little. SUS304 stainless resists corrosion, so a wipe-down with a soft cloth is enough. Clean the inside track occasionally, because soap residue can build up and slow the rollers. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the finish. That's the whole maintenance story for a residential shower.
