Both are stainless and corrosion resistant, but 316 adds molybdenum, which improves resistance to chlorides, salt, seawater, and pool chemicals. For indoor glass railings and handrails, 304 is standard and plenty. For coastal homes, pools, or commercial sites near salt air, choose 316. Tell us the location and we'll recommend.
How is the bracket fixed, to the glass, the wall, or both?
This bracket is part of a glass railing system: it supports the handrail on top of the glass or fixes to the wall where the railing ends. The fixing pattern depends on the bracket variant. Send us your railing layout, glass-to-glass, wall-mounted, or post-mounted, and we'll confirm the right bracket.
Which glass thickness does it suit?
It's made for glass railing and balustrade systems, which typically use laminated or tempered glass. Confirm your glass spec and railing design when ordering. If your glass is unusual, thinner architectural panels or heavy laminates, we'll check the clamp or spigot pocket fits before shipping.
What surface finishes are available?
Brushed nickel, chrome, gun gray, matte black, and custom colors. The finish is applied after forming, and on 316 material it holds up longer in coastal conditions. If your railing uses a specific designer finish, send a sample and we'll match it on a production run.
Does the bracket carry structural load, or just hold the rail?
It supports the handrail and helps transfer load into the glass or wall, but in a glass railing system the glass panels are the primary structural element. Brackets, spigots, and posts work as a system; don't oversize the glass and undersize the fixings. We can review your full railing BOM if you send it.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
Samples from 1 pc, with a sample fee possibly applying; standard orders from 50 pcs; OEM and custom-logo orders from 500 pcs. Lead time is 15-25 days. If you need both 304 and 316 brackets in one order, that's fine, just specify the grade per item.
